Thomas Romain, one of the original co-authors of Code Lyoko announced on the Twitter he is working on the designs of the upcoming new series.
Romain announced also he will be happy to give an interview to a journalist from Radio Campus Orleans. He confirmed Tania Palumbo is also involved in the project. He was asked who would broadcast the new series, Romain replied that a decission had not yet been made.
The creators of the “Code Lyoko: Project Eradication” have announced its cancellation. The reason is that the team currently does not have enough free time to work on it. It was also announced that the Discord server created for the project will remain active and will undergo a redesign in the near future. There is also a possibility that the creators will reveal what they have already accomplished. It is unclear whether this will take the form of a script, a fanfic, or a comic.
On July 2 at 18:00, a trailer for the fan project “Code Lyoko: Resurgence” was released on YouTube:
More remastered older versions of IFSCL have been released. You can now play versions 2.4.2, 2.2.9, and 2.2.6. The translations have been updated, a new installer has been added, but the commands used in 2013 have been retained. The versions are available on CodeLyoko.fr.
Another compilation of episodes has been released on the official French channel, this time featuring episodes from the first and third seasons.
