Hello,
Kolossus Launcher has been updated to version 2.0.0. It is supposed to be faster and more efficient than previous versions. Version 4.8.4 of IFSCL was released, followed by a patch.
Immudelki announced that a video celebrating the 16th anniversary of the IFSCL will be released on April 13 at 6:00 p.m. Meanwhile, a few days ago, there were issues with the Kolossus Launcher, so for now, the simulator can only be downloaded via a direct link.
Justine Sainte, the composer of the show’s opening theme, has released a new song inspired by CL, titled “Sauver Notre Existence.”
Shizuna, the artist behind the illustrations used for the release of “Saver notre existence,” spoke out on the matter. She revealed that in March 2025, Justine Sainte reached out to her, asking if she would like to create illustrations for an album set to be released soon. There were also plans to release all the episodes as a “collector’s box set,” which was to include a CD with new music and a comic book. Shizuna agreed, but decided she wouldn’t create the comic book because she didn’t feel up to the task.
The graphic designer was advised to use artificial intelligence, but she did not follow that advice. She worked on the illustration for about 150 hours. It has now come to light that the new song was created using AI, a fact that Sainte had not disclosed earlier. When promoting the song on Instagram, the illustration’s authorship was not disclosed, and Shizuna did not receive any payment, though she notes that no formal contract was signed.
A fan from France, going by the username CodeLyokoFan, also addressed the issue by posting a video on TikTok criticizing Sainte’s actions. The composer responded at great length. You can read the full response in English here:
Sainte claims that only 25 percent of the new song was created by artificial intelligence, which should be acceptable. She also adds that it was easier for her this time, since creating the song “New Hope,” for which she used an orchestra, took about 4–5 months and gave her headaches. In her opinion, it’s also wrong that there are people who use others’ work for remixes and no one says anything about it; such behavior isn’t criticized.
Sainte also emphasized that she had received no support from anyone in the French fan community, she further pointed out that fan-created content is illegal under the law and that the day may come when the creators decide to take it all down from the internet,a right they fully possess.
This response drew a very critical reaction from CodeLyokoFan, who recorded a four-part rebuttal on TikTok.
On April 2, Justine Sainte also released the full soundtrack for “Code Lyoko: The Multiverse.” It is listed on both Spotify and YouTube as “official music from the series,” but none of the 12 tracks have appeared in any of the series produced to date. A significant number of them are variations on the opening theme. It also turned out that, out of the 12 songs, only 2 were not created using artificial intelligence, which has drawn criticism from some fans. They believe this is a dishonest approach to the matter. Similarities to other songs have also been noted.
Sainte also responded to CodeLyokoFan’s reply. More specifically, she blocked him and decided she would no longer work with him.
The official French YouTube channel has released more episode compilations. The first compilation is from season two, the second from season three, and the third is a compilation of episodes from season two and runs 1.5 hours.
Fans of the series from the Balkans have decided to set up a Discord server. You can find it here.
Here’s a little tidbit. The religious channel “10 minutes avec Jesus” publishes daily reflections on God. One of these reflections began with a reference to CL.
Traditionally, we leave at the end of the news a review of fan art from recent times.
