On April 28, Mexican station Canal Once Niños y Niñas began broadcasting “Code Lyoko; Evolution” with Latin American dubbing. Until now, the series had not been translated into that language, and Latin American viewers could only see it from the subtitled version. Previously, the same channel aired the previous 4 seasons, also with refreshed dubbing.

The series has returned to broadcast on French television. This time it appeared on the coded channel J-One, dedicated mainly to Japanese culture. Episodes are aired on weekdays at 7:30, 7:55 and 8:20 a.m., as well as in the afternoons, namely at 1:55, 2:20 and 2:45 p.m. The same episodes are presented in the afternoon as in the morning. Weekend marathons have also been introduced, with 6 episodes each on Saturday and Sunday from 7:45 to 10:25.

A website has appeared, where various tutorials and tips for the IFSCL supercomputer simulator have been published. The link can be found here.

On April 4 and 5, during a convention in Paris, held where the factory that inspired the series’ creators stood, Immudelki had a booth dedicated to IFSCL. From the information he gave, it was a successful event, with visitors from France, Europe and even from across the Ocean (Philadelphia). Immudelki said he will negotiate to take up more space for his booth next year.

April 13 marked the 15th anniversary of the release of the first version of the IFSCL simulator. A video has been published to mark the occasion.

Immudelki recently reported on an interview he gave back in the fall of last year on Twitch. The interview was in English and can be seen here.

An interview with the person responsible for the soundtrack to IFSCL was also organized, and can be found here.

The team behind the radio drama “Code Lyoko : Frontières Virtuelles” has announced some details about work on the project. The first season will be divided into two parts. Each is to consist of four episodes. The first will appear in 2026, the second the following year. The exact premiere dates of each episode are not yet known. Each episode is expected to last between 40 and 60 minutes. The first is titled “Archives” and is expected to serve as a sort of introduction to the whole story. The title of the second is “In the Fire of Action,” the third is “Emulation,” and the fourth is titled “Grey Fortress.” The creators also announced that a new opening will be composed, in which “Un monde sans danger” will not be used, so as not to expose themselves to copyright violations. The team assessed that the recording of the first two episodes is going well.

News from Spain. Elena Loredo, a 30-year-old pianist active both online and in the real world, is known for playing music from various games and series. She recently presented her version of the series’ opening song.

Student protests have taken place in Serbia. A demonstration of thousands took place in the country’s capital, Belgrade, on March 15. Sources say as many as 250,000 to 300,000 participants. There, too, due to the considerable popularity of the series, there were Lyoko references.

The slogan on the banner is a reference to their version of the opening. “Only we are the ray that illuminates your world” has been transformed so that instead of “only we” there are “students” at the beginning. This can be understood to mean that the students will fight for a better world without Vucic, just as the Lyoko warriors fought for a world without Xana.

Traditionally, we leave at the end of the news a review of fan art from recent times.
