We begin our news segment with an interview that took place on June 12 at 6:00 p.m. on the French student radio station Radio Campus Orleans. During the interview, Sophie Decroisette confirmed that she is writing the script for the new season of Code Lyoko. She also announced that issues related to copyright are in the final stages of being resolved. It is known that members of the original team: Tania Palumbo and Thomas Romain, will be involved in the project. There is also a desire to bring back all the writers from previous seasons, and almost all of them have already agreed. The creators also expressed hope that the new series will be available on a streaming platform.
Jerome Mouscadet will serve not only as director but also as producer on the new series. He also added that things have moved forward over the past year. Decroisette also suggested that the new episodes will continue some of the storylines from the original series, particularly those related to artificial intelligence and the growing role of machines in everyday life. It’s possible that new details will be revealed in the coming months, it is said that maybe this fall.

- Yumi’s house is modeled after the home of one of the creators’ brothers, while the Hermitage is modeled after typical architecture characteristic of the southern suburbs of Paris.
- The creators revealed that they wrote to the administration of Lycée Lakanal asking for information about the school so they could recreate it as faithfully as possible in the series. They received a disc with materials, photos, and floor plans.
- William was originally supposed to be named Orlando.
- The new season is set to be a bit more mature, and the creators will continue to stick to the principle of “don’t treat viewers like idiots.”

Alex Thurman, previously known for co-creating the “Code Lyoko: Rebirth” project and later “Code Lyoko: Project Eradication,” has relaunched a website about the series at codelyoko.com. It features, among other things, basic information and links to various fan sites.
The team behind the radio drama “Code Lyoko: Frontières Virtuelles” has announced that the latest episode will premiere later this year. It will be titled “The Archives.” The exact date is unknown, but based on the progress of the editing, the creators estimate it will be in September or October. The next episode will be released in January or February 2027. The creators emphasized that the announcements made on June 12 have not deterred them from their mission to present their own continuation of the story, and they wish the original creators the best of success.
A new version of the IFSCL simulator, 4.8.6, has been released, introducing Chapter 8 of the story mode “The Frontier-Express.” The version has received three patches so far.

On June 9, a quiz entirely dedicated to Code Lyoko was held in Belgrade, organized by one of the largest local companies specializing in this type of entertainment. According to the information we’ve obtained, a similar event took place two months earlier. Questions included what the access code for the elevator in the factory is and what it means in T9 notation, as well as in which sector, chronologically speaking (rather than by release date), Xana first activated the tower.
