News from Lyoko – 16th September 2026

Hello,

On September 3, the series Code Lyoko marked the 23rd anniversary of its premiere; in 2003, the France 3 television network aired the first episode of Code Lyoko, titled “Teddygozilla”

Quentin Merabet, the actor who plays Ulrich in Code Lyoko: Evolution, posted on Reddit. In addition to saying that he messed up the character but considers it an honor to star in the sequel to his favorite series (even though he was originally supposed to play William), he emphasized that the fan community is unique. He also added that thanks to his role in the series, he met Melanie, with whom he is in a happy relationship. Quentin posted to promote his project “Loreum.” It’s a website and app for publishing creative work.

On August 22, the Fantasy Days event took place at Leśnica Castle in Wrocław. We organized the Centrum Lyoko Convention there. The weather was great; a few people came over because they recognized the Xana logo, and one of them complimented the jacket. The staff at the booths also recognized the Xana logos and were told about the Centrum Lyoko. They were surprised that the Centrum exists and are also looking forward to what comes next.

A Spanish fan decided to create an app that combines the console emulators needed to play the three official games based on the series on a computer. From now on, they are available within a single program that includes the emulators. We tested it and the games work as they should, although one of them launches in Spanish by default—but you can change the language. The download link is in this post:

The developers of the game “Code Lyoko: VN Travail d’équipe” on September 3rd released a new version numbered 2.5. It includes two new chapters, bringing the total to six. The game is available for Windows, Mac, and Linux, and comes in two language versions: English and French. You can download it here.

The team behind the radio drama “Code Lyoko: Frontières Virtuelles” has released another fragment, this time from episode four. So far, two episodes have been released, and the third is scheduled to premiere later this year.

The developers of the game “Code Lyoko RDT” have announced that work on the Digital Sea is nearing completion. They also unveiled its latest design.

More remastered older versions of IFSCL have appeared online. These are 1.8.0, 1.8.8, and 1.9.0. They are available for Windows and macOS, and you can choose whether to use the remastered version or the original file, which requires Adobe AIR—the environment on which the simulator ran in its early years. Immudelki has announced that he will be working on version 4.9.X of IFSCL later this year, with the goal of moving to version 5.0.X next year.

On September 9, 2026, a YouTube channel posted a 14-minute episode of “XANA Awakens” the original Latin American Spanish-language version of the 2007 series Code Lyoko. This episode with this dub comes from Lost Media, as it is incomplete. A complete dub with different voice actors was produced in 2024. For years, it was believed that the dubbing studio in Mexico hadn’t dubbed this episode, although others claimed to have seen it on TV. For years, the Latin American fandom believed they had fallen victim to the Mandela Effect, but now the Latin American fandom believes that they were the ones who dubbed it. The broadcast of Code Lyoko in Latin America was interrupted halfway through Season 4 in 2008. It wasn’t until 2024 that the series was rebroadcast in Mexico.

Another compilation of episodes has been posted on the official French YouTube channel, this time featuring episodes from the second and third seasons.

Traditionally, we leave at the end of the news a review of fan art from recent times.
