French television station J-One has resumed broadcasting Code Lyoko as of September 17. Initially, the series was broadcast on weekdays in two blocks: a morning block (6:50–10:50, 9 episodes) and an afternoon block (14:25–17:05, 6 episodes). The morning and afternoon blocks were independent of each other: for example, the morning blocks on September 17 aired episodes 1 – 9, September 18 aired episodes 7 – 15, and September 19 aired episodes 13 – 21. The afternoon blocks started from the beginning, showing 6 episodes each day in turn, but without repeating episodes from the previous day. Soon weekend broadcasts were also added to the frame – on Saturdays from 8:40 (2 episodes) and on Sundays from 6:55 (6 episodes).
Now weekday broadcasts have been discontinued, but weekend marathons still continue – from 6:55 to 9:30.
Another compilation of episodes has appeared on the official French channel on YT, this time featuring the final six episodes of the first season.

A certain scandal has emerged in recent days in regard to the movie “Code Lyoko: A Second Chance.” It started with the fact that a version of the movie with Spanish subtitles appeared on the CodigoLyokoLA channel on YT. As it turned out, these subtitles were made without the knowledge and permission of Ozberk, the author of the movie, as they were soon to be added as one of the options in the original movie. At first this copy was available privately, but then it was made public, despite a request for removal. One of the Spanish youtubers involved in the fandom, Adrixnaul, recorded several materials about the movie, including his reaction, based precisely on this unauthorized Spanish version. Those materials are no longer there, as Ozberk reported the copyright infringement.
Adrixnaul announced that he would not record any material on “Code Lyoko: A Second Chance” until further notice, which worried the Spanish-speaking community. Ozberk, in turn, explained on the night of September 28-29 that he had lost confidence in Adrixnaul and had no answers from him, which is why he decided to take such a radical step. He also said that it would have been only a matter of one message to get approval for the translation, which is what happened with the Turkish and French versions, for example. At the same time, Ozberk added that he had always liked what Adrixnaul did for the fandom. He also wondered whether to leave the fandom because of this situation and give up working on the second movie, but later said he would work on it.
There was also the issue of the movie being covered by monetization, despite the announcement at the beginning that no such thing was happening. Ozberk said that in Turkey, where he lives, this is not such a problem, but seeing some critical voices on the subject, he nevertheless put the monetization off.
As of the date of publication of this article, the two developers have reached an agreement and clarified matters.
An announcement of IFSCL version 4.8.X has been made, and it is scheduled for release later this year.
Version 0.5.6 of the game “Code Lyoko: Tyron’s Revenge” was recently released. It features a new challenge mode, separate for each character. You can also see a piece of Sector Five, but the whole thing will be made available only in the next version.
